What is Swim4Fitness?
Swim4Fitness is a series of swimming programmes that has been developed by international swimming brand Zoggs, to help people track their progress and improve their fitness in the swimming pool.
Swimmers of all ages, proficiency and ability are able to access a huge range of swimming programmes, complete with interactive training tips and advice through the free service www.swim4fitness.com. There are over 130 downloadable programmes spread over five levels from beginners through to advanced and triathlon training including:
CALM & STRETCH (Level 1)
TONE & SHAPE UP (Level 2)
FITNESS (Level 3)
PERFORMANCE (Level 4)
SWIM4TRIATHLON (Level 5)
After registering members can also track their progress and help to achieve their goals through the online logbook which records your profile, targets, swims, calories and achievements.
If you sign up to a Swim4Fitness programme you will also receive regular e-newsletters communicating swimming news, fitness tips, equipment news, FAQs and training updates, and be able to email any questions you may have about your programme.
Pools and leisure centres around the UK host Swim4Fitness sessions where lanes are dedicated to swimmers using the programmes (some are even coached). The programmes are available to use from poolside boards.
